Kinbrae Apartment is in a place called Wellswood, which is a part of Torquay. It's on the first floor of a solid-looking Victorian house. There's a blue plaque outside because the comedian Peter Cook grew up here.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one proper bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's a 4 Star place, so we've tried to make it comfortable. The beds are good quality.
You're about a ten-minute walk from Meadfoot Beach, which is a nice little sandy cove. Ansteys Cove is even closer. The seafront path is right there if you want to go for a walk.
There are a few pubs and restaurants within five minutes' walk. We don't recommend specific ones as they change, but you won't go hungry. There's a decent food shop nearby too.
If you've got the family, Kents Cavern is just up the road. The Babbacombe Model Village and the Babbacombe Theatre aren't far either.
For a day out, you can drive into the centre of Torquay in about five minutes for the harbour. Paignton and Brixham are close. If you want to get out into the countryside, Dartmoor is about a 30-minute drive. The National Trust and English Riviera websites are good for ideas.
Facilities are all included. There's parking for one car on the drive, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. It's fine for young children, but we don't allow pets.
