The Old Piggery
The Old Piggery is here on our farm in Shaldon. It's detached, sleeps two. You've got your own front door.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-kept. Everything's on one level, which is handy. The bed and the shower are both ensuite. There's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and parking right outside.
You share the courtyard garden with one other cottage, The Cob Barn. They're both a bit separate from the main farm and campsite, so it's quiet.
The farm's about 80 acres. We've got sheep, pigs, little Shetland ponies, goats, and chickens wandering about. You're welcome to say hello to them.
Shaldon village and the local pub are about half a mile away. It's a nice walk down the lane. The beach is a bit further, maybe a mile and a half. It's a proper sandy beach.
You're on the South West Coast Path here. You can walk to Teignmouth one way or along the coast the other. Inland, Dartmoor is about twenty minutes by car. Exeter's about the same.
