The Old Piggery is at Longmeadow Farm, just outside Shaldon village. It's a detached cottage for two people. We run the farm and a campsite here.
You get a bedroom, a bathroom, and an open-plan living space. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The shower is good.
The cottage looks out over our fields towards the River Teign. It shares a courtyard garden with the Cob Barn, which is the other cottage up at the top of the drive. You've got privacy from the other properties on site.
Shaldon Beach is about a twenty minute walk. The walk into the village itself is a bit shorter. There's a decent pub half a mile away.
The farm has animals. Sheep, kunekune pigs, small ponies, chickens, and goats. They're friendly.
For a day out, the Dartmoor National Park is twenty minutes by car. Exeter is about the same. The South West Coast Path runs through Shaldon if you like walking.
There's parking right outside the cottage. Bedding and towels are provided. It's got a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
