Jubilee Cottage is in the centre of Dawlish. It's a standard terraced house, one of a row. You get your own small courtyard garden at the back.
The cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The stairs are fairly steep, but that's normal for these houses.
Everything in Dawlish is on your doorstep: shops, cafes, a pub, the train station, and the beach. The beach is sand and shingle. The famous sea wall and coastal walk start right there. You can walk to Dawlish Warren along the wall, or the other way to Teignmouth. Both are nice.
Dawlish Warren has a nature reserve and a big sandy beach. Teignmouth has a pier and a longer promenade. The local train line runs right along the coast, so you can get to Exeter, Newton Abbot, or Plymouth easily if you don't want to drive.
If you do drive, Exmouth is about 20 minutes away. Haldon Forest Park is inland, about a 15-minute drive, for walking and cycling trails. For a day out, the Dartmouth Steam Railway is about 40 minutes by car. Paignton Zoo is about half an hour. The South West Coast Path runs through the town.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV, a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the street, but you can usually find a spot nearby. We accept up to two pets.
