Pierhead View
Pierhead View is a flat in Exmouth. It's right on the estuary, between the boat slipway and the fish quay. You look out over the marina and the mouth of the river.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. The main room is open plan with a kitchen, dining area, and living space. The sofas fit four. There's a large private balcony with outdoor furniture, which gets the sun.
You're part of a small block called Shelly Court. There's a little group of shops right there. A café, a crêperie, a bistro, a pub, and a seafood restaurant. The pub is about 175 yards away. The beach is a short walk, maybe five minutes.
Exmouth beach is two miles of sand. It's lifeguarded in the summer. The red cliffs at the end, Orcombe Point, are the start of the Jurassic Coast. The town is good for water sports if that's your thing. Sailing, paddleboarding, that sort of thing.
In winter, the estuary gets thousands of birds. It's a big spot for birdwatchers. Inland, you've got the East Devon heathlands for walking. They're a short drive away.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There are grab rails in the bathroom. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you want to explore, the National Trust in East Devon has good information on the coast and countryside. Exeter is about a 20 minute drive. Dawlish and Teignmouth are along the coast.
