Thorne Farm Annexe

Thorne Farm Annexe is in Lympstone, on a working farm. It's attached to our farmhouse. You park in the farmyard and go in your own front door.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. It's been done up recently so it's clean and comfortable.

The layout is a bit unusual. It's upside down. The bedroom is on the ground floor. The bathroom and the main living space, which is all open-plan, are upstairs. That means the living room gets a lot of light and looks out over the yard.

The farm is near a busy road. We've put good shutters and curtains in the bedroom to help with the noise. Most people don't find it a problem, but I'm mentioning it so you know.

Outside, there's a seating area you can use. It's shared with us, but we're often busy with the farm. There's a charcoal BBQ there too.

The village of Lympstone is a short walk away. There's a pub there and it's on the estuary. Topsham is a few minutes in the car, and Exmouth is about ten minutes drive. That's where the big sandy beach is. The South West Coast Path runs through there.

If you like birds, the Exe Estuary is good for that, especially in winter. You can get boat trips from Exmouth. Dartmoor is about 40 minutes drive if you fancy a change from the coast.

What's here: your own parking, WiFi, TV, a washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
