Crows Nest
Crows Nest is on a hill in Dawlish. It looks out over the estuary, you can see the sea from upstairs and the side garden.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. One shower room is downstairs. There's a proper main bathroom upstairs with a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
The downstairs is all on one level. You come in, there's a double and a twin bedroom right there off the hall. The twin can be made into a super king if you ask beforehand. The kitchen has what you need: dishwasher, washing machine. Door out to the back.
Outside, there's a patio with garden furniture and a gas barbecue. The garden wraps around the side. It's south facing so you get the sun. There's a hot tub out there too, with some lights and a speaker.
Upstairs are two more double bedrooms. One has a sea view and a TV. The family bathroom is also up there, and it has a sea view out the window.
You can fit about three cars on the drive. The beach is about three quarters of a mile away, mostly downhill.
Everything is included: bedding, towels, WiFi, the electricity. It's got a 4 Star rating. You can bring up to two dogs.
Dawlish town centre is a short walk down the hill. The train station is there if you need it. For a bigger day out, Exeter is about twenty minutes by car. The coast path runs right through if you're walking. For local information, South Devon National Landscape covers the area, and the National Trust has several properties nearby like A la Ronde.
