This is Chaucer Rise in Exmouth. It's my place. It's a detached house on a quiet street, not far from the town.
You'd fit four people here comfortably. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good, it means everything works and it's well looked after.
The garden's out the back. It's an enclosed courtyard, so it's private. Nice for sitting out when the sun's on it.
You're about a twenty minute walk from the beach. Exmouth beach is long and sandy, good for families. The town's got the usual seafront stuff. There's a local pub about five minutes walk away, they do food.
If you like walking, you can get straight onto the coast path. The cliffs to the east are red sandstone, really dramatic. You can walk towards Budleigh Salterton that way. The South West Coast Path site has routes. The Exe Estuary is there for birdwatching or a gentler stroll.
Exeter's not far, maybe twenty minutes by car. Good for shopping or the cathedral. Dartmoor is about forty minutes drive if you want proper moorland. There's a place called A la Ronde, a National Trust property, which is unusual and worth seeing.
In the house, there's parking for one car on the drive. Washing machine, WiFi, TV, all bedding and towels are provided. You can bring up to two dogs.
