Monks Thatch
Monks Thatch is in Otterton, Devon. It's attached to our house, but you have your own entrance and it's private. The main thing is the view. You look straight out to sea over the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. We've kept the thatch on the outside but inside it's modern, with decent heating and a woodburner for atmosphere.
The front garden is yours, with a table and chairs. You can park right there on the drive.
Otterton village is about half a mile down the lane. There's a pub that does food, a good community shop, and the Otterton Mill which has a bakery and a cafe. The coastal path is only a few minutes' walk away. You can be at Ladram Bay, Budleigh Salterton, or Sidmouth beach in about ten minutes by car.
Exeter is about half an hour's drive for bigger shops or the cathedral. Sidmouth is a bit closer, with its usual seafront things.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, parking, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's a shared indoor swimming pool on the estate you can book to use.
