Blue Horizon is a bungalow in Sidmouth. It's detached, so no shared walls. You're on a quiet lane that doesn't go anywhere, so there's no traffic.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms. One is a kingsize, the other has twins that can be zipped together to make another kingsize if you ask beforehand. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Everything's on one level inside, so no stairs. The layout is straightforward. We've had it rated as 4 Star. It's modern inside, lots of light. The main living area has a wood burner.
The garden is enclosed. It gets the sun. There's lawn and a patio with seating. In the summer we put out recliners and a parasol.
You can walk to the town and the seafront in about fifteen minutes. It's downhill. The walk back is uphill, which is worth knowing. The beach has a nice, level esplanade for a walk.
Sidmouth itself is a proper Regency town. There's a National Trust presence here because the coastline is part of the Jurassic Coast. The South West Coast Path runs right through. You can pick it up easily.
Within about half an hour you can get to Exeter. Dartmoor is about forty minutes. If you're after a family day out, Crealy Adventure Park is a 25 minute drive.
Facilities: it's got the stuff you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
The bungalow isn't set up for electric car charging, but there are public charging points down on the seafront, about three-quarters of a mile away.
