The Granary
The Granary is one of six cottages here in Cotford, Devon. It's a terrace, so you're attached to others, but it's quiet. The place is set in fourteen acres of fields and gardens. You can use all of it.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. It's all on the ground floor and the doors are wide, so it works well if you have mobility issues or use a wheelchair. There's a walk-in shower, not a bath.
Outside, there's a patio area just for this cottage. You share the bigger things, like the heated outdoor swimming pool in the summer months. There's a tennis court too, the gear is there for you to use.
Facilities are straightforward. It's open plan, with a kitchen, dining and living area. There's a dishwasher, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's an electric vehicle charger on site.
The nearest shop and pub are about a mile away in Sidbury. Sidmouth, which is on the coast, is about ten minutes in the car. The beach there is shingle.
For walking, you're in the East Devon National Landscape. The South West Coast Path is on the doorstop and the inland paths are good. Exeter is fifteen minutes drive for a bigger city day out, and Honiton is close for antiques.
