The Carriages
The Carriages is near Sidbury. It's a row of terraced barns in a big field. You'd be renting one of them, not the whole row. There are a few others around, but it's quiet.
It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's a 3 Star place, comfortable and clean.
You've got a patio garden. There's a shared swimming pool outside, open in the summer. There's also a tennis court you can use, racquets provided.
The facilities are straightforward: dishwasher, washing machine, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric car charger.
The coast at Sidmouth is about four miles away. There's a pub a mile down the lane. Honiton is five miles for shops and cafes.
For walks, you're in the East Devon National Landscape. The coast path is nearby. The beach at Sidmouth is shingle.
The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast around here. Exeter is about a 15 minute drive if you need a city or the train.
