Teal Cottage is in Honiton, on the high street. It's a thatched cottage from the 1600s. You can park off the road behind it.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an ensuite. The stairs are normal, but there are two steps up to two of the bedrooms. One of those rooms has a single daybed with a trundle underneath.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The kitchen has a proper cooker, a washing machine, and a tumble dryer. The living room has a TV with Freeview and a Firestick.
Out the back there's a small seating area with a bistro table. It gets the morning sun.
Honiton is a market town. There are shops and places to eat on the street. The train station is about ten minutes' walk away.
For days out, Sidmouth and the Jurassic Coast are about a 20 minute drive. Lyme Regis is about 40 minutes. Exeter is half an hour away. The Blackdown Hills are right there for walking. National Trust East Devon Coast has good information on the area.
