Valley View
Valley View is a single-storey cottage at Primrose Farm. It's near Rawridge in Devon. The place sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating.
From the living room, patio doors open onto a decked area. There are steps down to an enclosed garden. The view looks out over the Otter Valley. It's quiet.
The farm has horses and sheep in the fields. There are also a few friendly farm dogs and cats about. You might see deer and various birds. There's a carp lake on site that's shared with guests from the other cottages. If you have a fishing licence and use barbless hooks, you're welcome to fish there.
Rawridge is the nearest village, a short walk away. There's a village shop there for basics. Upottery is also within walking distance and has a pub. The area is good for walking, with plenty of footpaths through the Blackdown Hills.
By car, it's about 30 minutes to the coast at places like Sidmouth or Seaton. Lyme Regis and Charmouth, which are on the Jurassic Coast, are a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Honiton is about a 20 minute drive and has a range of shops.
Inside, it's all on one level. There's a kitchen, a living and dining area, the two bedrooms, and the shower room. It has central heating. The facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot available if needed. Parking is right outside.
