There's a shop and a pub about a mile down the road. The pub does food.
It's about half an hour's drive to the coast at Sidmouth. The Jurassic Coast is a bit further. Locally, the walking on the Blackdown Hills is very good. You're not far from the Quantocks or Exmoor either.
For a day out, you've got Dunster Castle or Montacute House. For something different, the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is about 25 minutes away by car.
Facilities: There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars. You can bring one dog. There's a games room in a shared outbuilding with a pool table.
