Llama Lodge is a log cabin on our working farm in Willand, Somerset. It's in the Blackdown Hills, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The farm has cows, sheep, and obviously, llamas.
The cabin sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean, warm, and functional. The main room is open plan with a kitchen, living, and dining area. French doors open onto a small terrace at the front, which gets the sun and looks out over fields.
It's very quiet here. You're next to our house, but you have your own space. The farm is good for proper peace and quiet. There are public footpaths leaving straight from the gate for walks, and the lanes around here are quiet for cycling.
You're about five miles from the nearest shop. The closest pub is four miles away. The beach, like at Sidmouth or Lyme Regis, is about a 40 minute drive. The National Trust has some good places nearby, like Montacute House. The Blackdown Hills website has walking and cycling routes.
For facilities: there's a TV, shower, washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can store bicycles. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
