Woodhayne Farm
Woodhayne Farm is in Bishopswood, near Taunton. It's the half of a big farmhouse. It's on its own up a track, surrounded by fields. Very quiet.
It sleeps twelve people. There are six bedrooms and every single one has its own bathroom. That's what makes it work for groups, everyone gets their own space. It's got a 5 Star rating so it's well looked after.
The downstairs is all one big room. Kitchen at one end, sofas and a wood burner in the middle, a big dining table at the other end. Folding doors open right up onto the garden. The stairs are original and a bit steep, but there's a handrail.
Outside, there's a big grassy garden and a hot tub under a cover. Plenty of parking. We take two well-behaved dogs.
The local pub is about a mile away in Bishopswood. It does food. The nearest shop is four miles.
You're well placed for getting out. Exmoor and the Quantocks are close for walking. Montacute House and Glastonbury Tor are about half an hour's drive. Wells and its cathedral are too. For a day out, Bath is under an hour away. The coast at Lyme Regis is about forty minutes.
Everything you'd expect is here. Washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels included, good wifi. The kitchen has what you need for a big group.
