Whitney Cottage
This is Whitney Cottage. It's a bungalow in Whitney Bottom, Somerset. That means it's all on one floor. Everything's flat inside.
The front is a bit of a busy lane, to be honest. But you go through the side gate into the garden and that's your whole space. It's a good size. There's a summerhouse with a table and chairs, and the hot tub is in a corner by the hedge. It's private. The garden gets the sun.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works. Underfloor heating, dishwasher, that sort of thing. You can bring one dog.
Inside, it's straightforward. The living room has French doors out to the garden. The kitchen has what you need. Both bedrooms have a TV.
The nearest pub with food is about a ten minute walk. There are a couple of others a short drive away. One does wood-fired pizzas.
For walking, you can go straight from the door. For a day out, you're about half an hour from the coast at Lyme Regis. You can go fossil hunting at Charmouth. There are National Trust houses like Montacute House and Barrington Court within half an hour too.
Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. Parking is on the drive.
