Stepen Cottage
This is Stepen Cottage in Chard. It's one of two detached places here, built from that local hamstone.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. You can bring one dog.
The main thing is the view. It looks out over the fields. The garden and patio are yours to use, and there's a BBQ out there.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a TV, wifi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right next to the cottage.
The local pub and a shop are about a mile away.
You're right on the Somerset and Devon border here. The coast is about a 30 minute drive. Lyme Regis is good, or Seaton with its tramway. The National Trust has a few places along that stretch.
If you fancy a day out, the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is about 20 minutes away. Montacute House is a bit closer, maybe 15 minutes. For shopping, Clarks Village in Street is a 25 minute drive.
The other place here is Stepen View. It's smaller, sleeps two. You can rent them together if you need to.
