Twill Lodge - 4 Swandown
Twill Lodge is number 4 on the Swandown Lodges site at Cricket St Thomas, near Higher Chillington. It's a detached lodge. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable.
The main living area is all open plan, kitchen through to lounge. High ceiling, lots of windows. There's a wood burner. Outside is a patio with some lawn space alongside.
On the site, there's an indoor heated swimming pool. You book a 40-minute slot just for your group. There are two restaurants within walking distance, one is at the golf course. The Sunday carvery is popular.
Chard is about five minutes drive for shops and pubs. Crewkerne is similar in the other direction. For a day out, Lyme Regis is under half an hour away for the beach. Charmouth is good for fossil hunting. There are a few National Trust properties nearby if you like that sort of thing.
The lodge has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and parking. All bedding and towels are included. The entrance and main living area are wheelchair accessible. No pets.
