The Old Cowshed
The Old Cowshed is near Ilminster, in Whitney Bottom. It's a detached barn conversion. It's upside down, so the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living space is upstairs. That means the main room gets the light and the view over the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
There's a proper enclosed garden. We've got a veg patch out the back that you can help yourself from, depending on the season. There's parking right outside.
You're about half a mile from the village pub. They do food. The shop is there too.
Ilminster is a couple of miles away for more shops and cafes. For a day out, Forde Abbey and Gardens is close. The coast at Lyme Regis is about half an hour's drive. That puts you on the Jurassic Coast. You've also got places like Montacute House and the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton within a reasonable drive.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. We can't take pets.
