The Old Dairy Annexe is in Donyatt, Somerset. It's a one-bedroom place, detached, all on the ground floor. Sleeps two. It got a full refurbishment a couple of years ago so everything is fresh and new.
You walk into one big room with the kitchen, dining area and lounge together. The ceiling has oak beams. The kitchen has everything: dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with a freezer compartment, electric oven. The shower room is off the lounge and has a good sized shower and a heated rail for towels. The bedroom is through another door. It also has a high beamed ceiling, a double bed, and its own TV.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden with a table and chairs. It's private. Parking is for one car, off the road, right by the cottage.
The village is small and quiet. There's a pub next door, the Lord Poulett Arms. They do food. For shops, Ilminster is about a mile and a half away. You can drive it in five minutes or walk it in twenty. They've got supermarkets and some independent shops.
If you like walking, there's a cycle path that runs from Ilminster to Chard. Donyatt Holt and Chard Reservoir are nearby. For a day out, there are several National Trust places within about half an hour. Montacute House and Barrington Court are the main ones. The coast at Lyme Regis is also about thirty minutes' drive.
Facilities are all included: WiFi, bedding and towels, electricity. The entrance is level and the whole place is on the ground floor, so it's suitable if you have mobility needs. No pets, sorry.
