The Chapel is in Wambrook, which is just outside Chard in Somerset. It's a detached stone building on a working dairy farm. It used to be the farm's chapel, so it's an old building with thick walls.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's underfloor heating on the slate floor downstairs, which is good. There's a wood burner in the main room too. The ceilings are beamed, and there's an old bread oven in the wall. The stairs are a typical cottage spiral, so they're tight.
You get a large private garden with a patio. Part of it has a covered veranda. The view is over fields and valleys. It's quiet, but you can hear the farm sometimes.
Chard town centre is about five minutes drive. There are shops, a few cafes and pubs. It's near the Devon and Dorset borders, so you can get to different places quite easily.
Within half an hour you can get to the coast at Lyme Regis. Forde Abbey Gardens are very close. Taunton and Yeovil are about twenty minutes for bigger shops. The Blackdown Hills are right there for walking.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and parking. You can bring up to two dogs. All bedding is included.
