Whitegate View
Whitegate View is near Street in Somerset. It's a single-storey place, part of our house but self-contained. You get your own front door. The view from the front is over fields, hence the name.
It sleeps five. There are two proper bedrooms, one double and one single. The sofa in the living room pulls out into a double bed as well. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and everything works, but don't expect anything luxurious.
The garden area is yours to use. There's parking right outside. We're in a village so it's quiet. Good for walking straight from the door. The local pub is about three quarters of a mile down the road, they do food. The nearest shop is a bit further, in Chard.
You're right on the borders of Somerset, Dorset and Devon here. Glastonbury Tor is about 20 minutes' drive. The Clarks Village outlet shops in Street are maybe 10 minutes away. For a day at the coast, you're looking at just under an hour to get to somewhere like Lyme Regis. The National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Montacute House.
In terms of what's here, it's all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV, a dishwasher, and parking. No pets, sorry.
