Mill Cottage
Mill Cottage is in Hawkchurch. It's a single-storey place, detached, built from old stone. It's just for two people. There's one bedroom and one bathroom. The lounge and kitchen are open-plan.
The garden is private and lawned. There's parking right there. You can store bicycles.
Inside, the bedroom has French doors that open to a view of the fields. There's a kingsize bed. The bathroom has a roll-top bath. Downstairs, there's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. There's a TV with internet access for streaming. Bedding and towels are provided. The WiFi is included.
We're across the lane if you need anything. We'll leave some welcome bits for you when you arrive.
Hawkchurch is a small, quiet village. There's a pub about a mile away. It's an old coaching house. The nearest shop is about a mile and a half.
You're about seven miles from Lyme Regis and the coast. The Jurassic Coast is all along there. Good for walking and fossil hunting at places like Charmouth. Axminster is a short drive for bigger shops. It's an old town with a heritage centre.
For local walks and places to visit, the National Trust Jurassic Coast site is useful. So is East Devon National Landscape.
