The Stables is in Penn, Dorset. It's a converted stable. We live on site at the farmhouse. The views from here are good, looking out over the Marshwood Vale.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but it's a conversion, so mind your head on some of the beams. The stairs up to the loft room are a bit steep.
You're less than two miles from Charmouth. That's got a beach, a shop, pubs, and it's good for fossil hunting. Lyme Regis is about ten minutes drive west. You've got the Cobb, the aquarium, and the usual seaside things.
For walking, you're right in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The South West Coast Path is nearby. The Golden Cap estate is worth a visit. For a longer drive out, Corfe Castle is about an hour.
There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. Parking is on site. We've included bedding and towels. There's a washing machine. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's an electric vehicle charger.
