Sea View Lodge is on the Rousdon Estate, just outside Lyme Regis. It's a single-storey lodge at the front, with a couple of bedrooms upstairs. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main thing is the sun room that runs across the back. It's got a table and chairs at one end and some armchairs at the other. You get a lot of light and it looks straight out onto the garden. The garden itself is a good size and enclosed, which is handy. It has a hot tub. There's a wood burner in the living room.
You're on a private estate, so it's quiet. There are walking paths through the woods and fields right from the gate. The estate has its own bit of beach, about two miles away down the lane. The South West Coast Path is easy to pick up from there if you want to walk towards Lyme Regis or Seaton.
Lyme Regis is about four miles away. It's got the Cobb harbour, a sandy beach, some fossil shops, and places to eat. Seaton is a similar distance the other way. For a bigger town, Sidmouth is about twenty minutes by car.
If you've got children, there's Crealy Adventure Park near Exeter, or Pecorama in Beer. The National Trust has a few properties nearby too, like the Undercliffs.
In terms of what's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and a cot and highchair if you need them. The WiFi works. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking for two cars right outside.
