Coombehayes Barn

Coombehayes Barn is in Uplyme. It's a big converted barn that sleeps 12 people. That's not a guess, it's properly set up for that many. There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

It's got a 4 Star rating. The main thing is it has its own indoor heated swimming pool. It's in a central part of the house and it's always warm. It's a big reason people book it.

The garden is large and enclosed, so it's private. You're down a private drive so it's quiet, but you can walk to the village green. The local pub is about half a mile away. They've got a beer garden.

You're just over a mile from Lyme Regis and the sea. Lyme has a sandy beach. The famous Cobb harbour is there, and it's good for fossil hunting on the beaches. You can get onto the South West Coast Path from there. The East Devon Way footpath starts practically at the end of the drive if you want a walk without driving.

For places to visit, River Cottage is a few minutes up the road. Within about 15 minutes' drive you've got Seaton Wetlands, the town of Beer with its caves, and the Pecorama model railway.

In terms of what's here: there's a games room, a wood burner, a BBQ, and parking on site. It's listed as Christmas themed, which means it has decorations for the festive period. One well-behaved dog is allowed. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
