Yawl House is a big Georgian place just outside Lyme Regis. It sleeps twelve, which obviously makes it good for groups or a big family. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
It's attached to our house, but you get the whole garden to yourselves. It's mostly lawn. There's a conservatory that looks out onto it, which is a nice spot.
The main bedroom has a TV. The stairs are normal, not the steep cottage kind. Parking is for four cars normally, but we can usually sort a fifth space if you ask beforehand.
Lyme Regis is about a mile away. Good for the beach, the harbour, and all the usual seaside stuff. The Jurassic Coast is right there, which is mainly good for walking and fossil hunting. Golden Cap is the high point, if you want a proper climb.
Within half an hour's drive you've got places like West Bay and Bridport. Forde Abbey is about 25 minutes inland. Further afield, you can get to Exeter or the Somerset levels.
Facilities wise: there's a woodburning stove, a BBQ, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
The local shop and a pub are a mile away. They're fine.
