Porters Lodge is a ground floor apartment. It's attached to Kerrington House Hotel, but it's your own space. It sleeps two in one bedroom and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped.
Because it's part of the hotel, you can use their facilities. You can have breakfast there, and there's a communal lounge with an honesty bar. The hotel gardens are nice to sit in. The apartment itself has a small, shared courtyard out the front.
It's in the middle of Axminster, so you can walk to the shops and places to eat. The town is a proper market town. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall has his River Cottage Canteen here.
The coast is about a 20 minute drive. Lyme Regis and Charmouth are that way if you're looking for fossils. Seaton has a tramway. Inland, it's all country lanes and villages.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible and there are grab rails in the bathroom.
