Porters Lodge
Porters Lodge is a ground floor flat in Axminster. It's part of the Kerrington House Hotel building. You have your own front door, so it's private.
It's a one-bedroom place, just for two people. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable. Because it's all on one level and has a step-free entrance and grab rails in the shower, it's suitable if you have limited mobility.
You get your own patio area outside the flat. The hotel lets you use their grounds too, which are nice to sit in. You can also use the hotel's guest lounge, which has an honesty bar. You can order breakfast from the hotel in the mornings if you want to.
You're right in the town. There's a Co-op about a five minute walk away for basics. A few pubs and places to eat are about ten minutes walk. The River Cottage Canteen is here, which is popular.
For days out, Lyme Regis is 15-20 minutes drive. That's the coast. The beach at Charmouth is good for fossils. Seaton has a tramway along the valley. Inland, there's walking on the edges of Dartmoor or around the Blackdown Hills, both about half an hour away.
In the flat, there's a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
