A Twist of Lyme is on Raymond's Hill, just over the Dorset border into Devon. It's a semi-detached cottage, next to the main house where we live. Sleeps two, one bedroom upstairs. There's parking right outside.
The living space is all one room downstairs. It's got a decent kitchen, a sofa, and a Smart TV with Netflix and Prime. We've put in an electric stove for a bit of warmth without the fuss.
Upstairs is the bedroom. The bed's a super king, and you can split it into two singles if you prefer. The bathroom has a proper shower and a separate roll-top bath under a skylight.
The garden is yours to use. There's a bit of a lawn and an enclosed patio area. It's south-facing, so it catches the sun. You're welcome to bring the dog. We ask for two maximum.
Raymond's Hill is quiet. There's a shop and a pub about half a mile away in the village. Lyme Regis is the main draw, about ten minutes down the road. You can walk the Cobb, browse the shops, or just go for fish and chips.
You're right on the edge of the Dorset National Landscape. Good walking from the door. In under half an hour you can be in Beer or Branscombe, or up at Forde Abbey. Bridport and West Bay are about twenty minutes east.
Inside, you've got the basics covered: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. All bedding and towels are included. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
