Weycroft Cottage is a detached house just outside Axminster. You get the garden to yourselves. It's mostly laid to lawn with a patio.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The rooms are a decent size. One thing to know: there's a third bedroom up in the attic. It's a proper room, but you get to it via a steep, space-saving staircase. It's fine, but watch your head.
The ground floor has a living room with a wood burner, a separate dining room, and the kitchen. They're all through-rooms, so it feels quite spacious for a cottage. Everything works and it's well looked after.
You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive, wifi, and a washing machine.
Axminster is about a mile away for shops and pubs. Lyme Regis is about fifteen minutes by car. That's your classic seaside town with a Cobb and fossil beaches. If you want a bigger beach, go west to Beer or Seaton.
You're right on the edge of the Blackdown Hills for walks. The Jurassic Coast is close for the scenery. For a day out, Forde Abbey and Gardens is nearby, or you can drive into Somerset or Dorset fairly easily. Exeter, Dartmoor and the Somerset Levels are all within an hour.
