Weycroft Cottage
Weycroft Cottage is in Weycroft, just outside Axminster. It's a detached place, so you're not sharing walls with anyone. You get the whole garden to yourself. It's got a lawn and a patio with some furniture.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. There's a proper kitchen, a living room with a wood burner, and a separate dining room. It's got a four-star rating, so everything's in good order.
The stairs to the top bedroom are steep. They're the open-tread, space-saver type. You should know that before you book.
You can bring two dogs. There's parking on site. It has WiFi, a washing machine, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
Axminster is a couple of minutes' drive for shops and things. For a day out, Lyme Regis is about fifteen minutes away. The Jurassic Coast is right there. You can be in Sidmouth or Charmouth in under half an hour. The Blackdown Hills are on the doorstep for walking. If you want to go further, parts of Somerset and Dorset are within a thirty minute drive.
