Bergerac Cottage
Bergerac Cottage is on a farm just outside Lyme Regis. It's one of a few stone barns converted into cottages, set in a field with a pond at the front. It's quiet. You'll see rabbits and probably deer.
The cottage sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's open plan downstairs.
You get your own patio looking over the pond. There's parking right outside.
To get to Lyme Regis, it's about 25 minutes on foot down through the fields and along the river. By car it's four minutes. The town has the usual shops, pubs, and places to eat. The harbour is nice. The beach is shingle.
The South West Coast Path runs right through Lyme. The walk up to Golden Cap is good if you want a proper view. For fossil hunting, the beaches between Lyme and Charmouth are the places to go.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Bridport, Seaton, and Sidmouth. Exeter is about 45 minutes. The National Trust has a lot of coastal land here you can walk.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided. We have a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry. The golf course is less than a mile away.
