The Grain Store is up at Marshwood Manor, near Bettiscombe. It's a converted farm building on a private estate. You get your own little courtyard with a table and chairs. The main garden is shared with the other cottages here, but it's ten acres so there's plenty of room.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. The shower is over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-fitted. It's open plan downstairs. There's a woodburner for cooler evenings.
The place is quite rural. You're up a private drive. The nearest shop is in Marshwood village, about two miles away. There are a couple of thatched pubs a short drive away too.
The coast is about five miles. Lyme Regis and Charmouth are the closest beaches. They're good for fossil hunting. The Golden Cap estate is National Trust land right on the coast. The walking there is spectacular.
Bridport is a proper market town, about six miles. It's got a decent range of shops. For a swim if the sea's too cold, there's an indoor pool at the sports centre there.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to two dogs. There's a games room with table tennis in a shared barn.
