Apple Tree Cottage
Apple Tree Cottage is in Charmouth. It's a small, detached cottage about a five minute walk from the beach.
It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms: one with a super king bed and a smaller one with a single. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've brought dogs. Speaking of which, we accept two pets.
The cottage is wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but it's worth noting the bathroom and bedrooms are on the first floor, so there are stairs inside.
You're right in the village. The local shop and a good pub are literally a minute's walk away. The beach, where you can look for fossils, is about half a mile down the hill.
For walking, you're on the South West Coast Path. Golden Cap is a proper climb but the views are worth it. Lyme Regis is about three miles along the coast. It has the Cobb, a sandy beach, and some nice shops.
Further along, you've got West Bay, Bridport, and Abbotsbury within about half an hour's drive. If you're interested in the Jurassic Coast, the Jurassic Coast Trust website has good information.
In terms of what's here, it's got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a BBQ. Bedding is included. We can provide a highchair and a stairgate if you need them.
