Bluebell Cottage
Bluebell Cottage is on our farm in Wootton Fitzpaine. It's one of three cottages here, so you'll see us and the cattle around. The cottage is split-level, over three floors.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but not posh. The stairs are a bit steep in parts, which is normal for these old places.
You get a small patio area to yourselves. The garden isn't enclosed, so you'd need to keep an eye on dogs or children. Speaking of which, we're fine with up to two well-behaved dogs.
Inside, there's an open plan living area with a woodburning stove. We leave you some logs to start. There's a TV, wifi, a washing machine, and all the bedding is included. We've also got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
You're on a working farm, so you'll hear animals and tractors. There's good walking right from the door into the Marshwood Vale.
For the coast, Charmouth is about three miles away for fossils. Lyme Regis is a bit further, maybe fifteen minutes in the car. It’s got the harbour, the Cobb, and shops. Bridport and West Bay are about twenty minutes the other way.
The shop and the nearest pub are about a mile and a half away in the village.
