Bluebell Cottage
Bluebell Cottage is on our farm in Wootton Fitzpaine. It's a working beef farm, so you'll see the cattle about. The cottage is split-level, so there are stairs inside between the living floor and the bedrooms. They're not unusual, but something to be aware of if stairs are a problem.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and has what you need without being high-end. You get your own little patio area out the back. We allow up to two dogs.
The location is the main thing. You're in the Marshwood Vale, so the views are good. You can walk straight out onto the footpaths from the door. The coast is about three miles away. Charmouth is closest for the beach and fossil hunting. Lyme Regis is a bit further, maybe four miles. It's got the Cobb harbour and the usual seaside shops. Bridport and West Bay are a short drive the other way.
Golden Cap is nearby. It's the highest point on the south coast. The walk up is steep but the view from the top is worth it. You can see across Lyme Bay.
For facilities, it's all listed. There's a woodburner, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding is included. We have a cot and highchair if you need them.
