This is Barters Cottage. It's out near Chideock in Dorset.
It's one of a pair of cottages, semi-detached. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. You share the big garden with the other cottage, but you get your own private patio area.
The cottage looks out over fields. You can see countryside. The sea is about a mile away. The village of Chideock has a shop and a couple of pubs, about three quarters of a mile walk.
The coast is why you'd come. It's the Jurassic Coast, so the cliffs and rocks are the main thing. You can walk to it from the cottage. The National Trust looks after a lot of the local coast path.
Golden Cap, the highest cliff on the south coast, is nearby. There's a farm shop close by with good views of it.
Bridport is three miles east for a bigger shop or the leisure centre. Lyme Regis is about ten miles west if you want a proper seaside town, or to look for fossils.
There's a local bus route through the village, the Jurassic Coast Bus, for getting around without the car.
Inside, it's got a wood burning stove for cooler nights. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can bring one dog.
