This is Buzzards. It's a two bedroom cottage for three people, in that part of Bothenhampton that's just outside Bridport. It's one half of an old country house that's been split into two properties. You've got your own front door and garden, and the hill behind the house is full of badger setts, so you'll see plenty of wildlife about.
Inside, it's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep.
The village is quiet. There's a shop and a pub about three quarters of a mile away. For more, you drive into Bridport in five minutes. It's a proper market town with good shops and the Pallets market twice a week. From there, West Bay harbour and the beach are just over a mile down the road. That's the coast they used for Broadchurch.
You're right on the edge of the National Trust land here, and it's all part of the Jurassic Coast. The coast path is excellent. West Bay is your closest access. You can walk east towards Lyme Regis and Charmouth for fossil hunting, or west along Chesil Beach.
Good days out within half an hour: Lyme Regis with its Cobb harbour, the swannery at Abbotsbury, and Dorchester for Roman history. There's a golf course and a leisure centre nearby too.
Facilities: parking right outside. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
