Woodbrook Cottage is in Bothenhampton, just outside Bridport. It's a detached house built in 2002 with local stone. Sleeps nine, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating.
The place is big. The kitchen has two dishwashers and a big old farmhouse table that seats everyone. There's a wood burner in the sitting room. The main bedroom has a four poster bed. There's also a shepherd's hut in the garden, which we call the Tea Junction. It's a nice spot to sit.
The garden is enclosed and private, with a patio. You can bring up to three dogs.
You're about two miles from the coast here. West Bay is the closest bit, with the harbour and cliffs. It's a ten minute drive, or you can walk it in about forty minutes. Bridport itself has a good market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Within half an hour you can drive to lots of the coast. Lyme Regis is one way, with the Cobb. Charmouth is good for fossil hunting. Weymouth and Portland are the other way. Inland, there's the countryside around Powerstock and Eggardon Hill.
For planning days out, these are useful: Jurassic Coast and National Trust Dorset.
Facilities: everything listed is included. Washing machine, TV, WiFi, parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
