Woodbrook Cottage is in Bothenhampton, which is just outside Bridport in Dorset. It's a detached house built in 2002 from local stone.
It sleeps nine people. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's a comfortable, well-equipped place. The stairs are normal house stairs, not steep cottage ones.
The kitchen has two dishwashers and a big old farmhouse table. There's a wood burner in the sitting room and the sofas are leather. The main bedroom has a four-poster bed.
Outside, there's a patio with teak furniture and a shepherd's hut in the garden. We call it the Tea Junction. It's got a light and a heater, so you can sit out there in the evening.
You're about two miles from the coast. West Bay and the South West Coast Path are a short drive away. Bridport has a good market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The local pub is about a ten-minute walk.
For days out: Lyme Regis and Charmouth for fossils are within half an hour. Chesil Beach and the Fleet are nearby. So are Abbotsbury with its swannery and sub-tropical gardens.
Facilities: there's parking for two cars on the gravel drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a cot, and a highchair. You can bring up to three dogs. The garden is fully enclosed.
