Valley View
Valley View is one of the cottages on our farm in West Milton. It's a working farm, so you'll see the animals around. The cottage looks out over the valley, hence the name.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. It's not huge, but it's fine for a week away. You've got your own patio with a table and a BBQ.
The village is quiet. The nearest shop and pub are about three miles away in Powerstock. They're both good. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Bridport, which is about four miles.
The coast is close. West Bay is four miles. It's a proper working harbour with those big cliffs. Lyme Regis is about eight miles along the coast. You can walk from there along the cliff path. It's all part of the Jurassic Coast.
For walking, you're right in the middle of it. You can leave from the cottage gate. The area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Golden Cap is the highest point on the south coast, about a twenty minute drive away. Dorchester is about fifteen miles if you want history or a bigger town.
Inside there's a washing machine, TV, and wi-fi. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside the cottage. No pets, sorry.
