Fig Tree Shepherds Hut
This is the Fig Tree Shepherds Hut. It's in a corner of our orchard in Bothenhampton, just outside Bridport. You look out over our fields.
It's for two people. One room. It's a single space with a double bed at one end and a small kitchen and sitting area. There's a separate bathroom with a shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is new and works properly.
You have your own garden bit with a table and chairs. It's quiet. You'll hear sheep and birds.
It's about a 20-minute walk into Bridport town centre. West Bay and the coast path are about a mile and a half away. For a longer beach, Chesil Beach is close by.
If you want to explore, the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty starts here. You can walk from the door on old farm tracks. Lyme Regis and Charmouth for fossils are about 20 minutes by car. Abbotsbury Swannery is about the same.
It has its own parking. WiFi, bedding, towels, all included. The kitchen has a two-ring hob and a microwave oven, plus a fridge. No pets.
