Pig Sty Cottage
Pig Sty Cottage is on our working farm in West Milton. It used to be, well, a pig sty. Hence the name.
It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. Just the one bedroom, sleeps two. There's a bathroom, a living area, and a small kitchen open to it. It's a Three Star place, so it’s clean and comfortable but not high-end.
You get your own patio with a barbecue. There's parking right outside.
Being on the farm, you'll see and hear us going about the day. You can walk around the farm tracks. The views are just fields and the Dorset hills.
West Milton village is quiet. There's a pub and shop about three miles away in Powerstock. For a proper beach, West Bay is about fifteen minutes by car. Lyme Regis is a bit further along, maybe twenty minutes.
If you like walking, you're in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can walk up to Golden Cap from here, it’s the highest point on the south coast. Dorchester's about half an hour's drive if you need a bigger town.
Inside, there's a TV, a washing machine, bedding's included, and we can put up a cot or highchair if you need one.
