Copper Beech
This is Copper Beech in Netherbury. It's a detached house down a quiet lane, with its own garden. It's in the village but it feels private.
The house sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy if you're two families sharing. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
The main thing is it has a heated indoor swimming pool. It's in a separate building next to the house. You'll need to bring your own towels for the pool.
Inside, it's all on one level except for one bedroom which is up a flight of stairs. That bedroom has a low doorway, so mind your head. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's parking for three cars on the drive.
Netherbury is a small village. There's a pub about half a mile away. For a shop, you need to drive to Beaminster, which is about three miles. It's a proper little market town.
You're about six miles from the coast. West Bay is the closest spot, with the harbour and cliffs. Lyme Regis is a bit further along, maybe twenty minutes in the car. The Jurassic Coast is the big attraction here for walking and fossil hunting.
If you drive inland for half an hour, you can get to places like Sherborne or the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton. For a day out with children, Monkey World near Wareham is popular.
Bedding and towels for the house are included. There's a cot available. No pets, I'm afraid.
