Hooke Court is a large old manor house near Hooke village in Dorset. It sleeps 23 people, so it's for big groups. There are 11 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, which helps with that many people.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Some parts are very old, from the 17th century or earlier. It's been updated for things like heating and the kitchens, but you can still feel the age of it. The house has a moat around it.
Inside, there's a big drawing room with an open fireplace. There's a separate dining room that can seat everyone. There's also a games room. The garden is large and private.
It's in a quiet spot. The nearest shops and pubs are in Beaminster, about three and a half miles away.
For things to do, the Dorset coast is about ten miles south. West Bay and Chesil Beach are close. Golden Cap is the highest cliff on the south coast. Inland, there's a lot of history. The Cerne Abbas Giant is nearby. Dorchester is about 13 miles, which has the Roman history and connections to Thomas Hardy. There are hill forts like Eggardon around here, and several nature reserves.
Facilities: It has pretty much everything you'd need for a big group. WiFi, TVs, a dishwasher, washing machine, plenty of parking. Bedding is included. No pets allowed.
