Cruxton Lodge
Cruxton Lodge is in Cruxton, down in Dorset. It's a modern, detached lodge. It's for two people, just one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's very well finished.
Inside, it's all open plan. There's a kitchen area, a dining table, and the sitting area. The bedroom has a double bed. The shower is a walk-in one, a good size.
Outside, there's a south-facing terrace with a table and chairs. You get a view over the fields from there. Also, you get access to a private bit of riverbank. It's nice to sit by the stream.
The village of Tollerford is under a mile away. There's a local shop, a village pub that does food, and a French restaurant called Le Petit Canard. They're all fine.
Dorchester is about a 15 minute drive. There are shops and restaurants there if you need them.
You're well placed for the coast. The Jurassic Coast is about half an hour's drive. That's where you find places like Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Inland, you've got Hardy's Cottage and places like that if you're interested.
For local walks and countryside information, the Dorset Council Countryside site is useful.
Facilities wise: it has WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and parking right next to the lodge. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Sorry, no pets.
