Cruxton Lodge is a single-storey, detached lodge in Cruxton, Dorset. It sleeps two.
It's got a 5 Star rating, mostly due to it being modern, new and clean. The bedroom has a double bed. The shower is a good size, it's a walk-in.
The main room is open plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area are all together. There's a dishwasher, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a south-facing terrace with a table. It gets the sun and has views over the fields. The other bit is the private river bank access. It's a short walk from the lodge. It's just a grassy spot by the stream, no furniture, but it's nice if you want to sit out somewhere quiet.
The location is quiet, it's a hamlet. The nearest village is about a mile's walk or a short drive. It has a shop, a pub, and a French restaurant. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Dorchester, which is about a 25 minute drive.
For the coast, it's well placed. The Jurassic Coast is a 20 to 30 minute drive depending on where you head. Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, and Weymouth are all in that range. Inland, you've got Hardy's Cottage and Dorchester itself.
A cot is available if you need one. No pets.
