Linden Lea is in Southover, a few miles south of Dorchester. It's an end-of-terrace cottage. The garden is yours to use and there's a view out over fields.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. Everything you'd expect, really.
The kitchen is small but it works. There's a woodburning stove in the sitting room. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.
There's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and parking right outside. We provide all the bedding and towels. There's a cot you can use if you need one. Sorry, no pets.
The garden is decent sized and the lawn runs down to the field next door. There are sometimes pygmy goats in there.
You're right out in the countryside here. There are footpaths and bridleways straight from the door for walking. For the coast, West Bay is about half an hour's drive. That's got the sandstone cliffs and a good beach.
If you head east, you can get to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove in maybe 35 minutes. Corfe Castle is in that direction too. Dorchester is the nearest town, about four miles away. It's got supermarkets, shops, and a few decent places to eat.
For planning walks or days out, these sites are useful: Jurassic Coast Trust and National Trust Dorset.
