Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage is one of five places on our site. They're lodges set in a field, just off the road. It's rural here. There are sheep in the next field. You get a patio out the front.
It sleeps three. One bedroom with its own shower room, and the sofa bed in the living area for the third person. It's open plan downstairs. The rating is 3 Star. It's clean and comfortable. Everything works.
The site is in Winterbourne Abbas. There's a shop about a ten minute walk away. The nearest pub for food is in Winterbourne Steepleton, about a mile down the road.
You're in a good spot for the coast. West Bay, where they film Broadchurch, is about twenty minutes by car. Weymouth is a bit closer, about fifteen minutes. That's a traditional seaside town with a beach and a sea life centre.
Inland, Dorchester is fifteen minutes away. They have the museum for Thomas Hardy. The Cerne Abbas Giant is about a half hour drive. For a day out, the Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens are close, or you've got Monkey World or the Tank Museum at Bovington, both within half an hour.
For walking, you're near the South West Coast Path. The whole Jurassic Coast is on your doorstep.
Facilities: WiFi, parking right outside, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
