Primrose Cottage is a bit outside Winterbourne Abbas. It's a one bedroom lodge style place, one of a few similar ones on site, with some caravans in a field behind. Sheep sometimes graze back there. It sleeps three people.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not high-end. Everything's on one level which is handy. The bedroom has an en-suite shower room. It's open plan inside, so the living, dining and kitchen areas are all together.
You've got your own patio and garden bit. There's on-site parking. The facilities are straightforward: WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are provided. We take up to two dogs.
There's a village shop about half a mile away. The local pub is a mile down the road and they do food.
For getting out, you're well placed. The coast at West Bay is about 12 miles. Weymouth is 7 miles for beaches and the sealife centre. Inland, Dorchester is close. If you fancy a drive, you've got Abbotsbury Swannery 5 miles away, the Tank Museum at Bovington, Monkey World, Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, and the Cerne Abbas Giant all within about 30 minutes.
