Primrose Cottage is in Winterbourne Abbas, Dorset. It's one of six places on the site, a mix of lodges and static caravans. They're set in a field, and there's usually sheep in the next field over. It's quiet and feels rural.
It sleeps three people. It's a one-bedroom lodge. The bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The main space is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and sitting area all together. It has a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
Outside, you have your own patio area with a table and chairs. You can park right next to it.
Inside, there's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. The Wi-Fi works. I'd call it a good, solid base.
The local shop is about half a mile away. The nearest pub that does food is a mile down the road.
You're well placed for the coast. West Bay, which is the harbour for Bridport, is about a twenty minute drive. Weymouth and its beach is a bit closer, maybe fifteen minutes. The whole Jurassic Coast is on your doorstep.
Inland, you've got Dorchester about ten minutes away. For a day out, things like the Abbotsbury Swannery, Monkey World, or the Tank Museum at Bovington are all within half an hour's drive. Corfe Castle and Lulworth Cove are a bit further, but easily doable.
You can bring up to two dogs. There are local footpaths. If you fancy a round of golf, there's a course nearby.
