Myrtle Cottage is in Puncknowle, which is a proper Dorset village. It's thatched. It sleeps seven, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating which is good. There's easy access into the house if you need it, which is becoming more common in old places now, but the inside layout might not be fully accessible, I'd need to check with you on that.
The garden is out the back, it's enclosed. There's parking on site.
The village has two pubs you can walk to. I like The Crown Inn. You're between the sea and the countryside here.
The coast at Chesil Beach and places like West Bay are about ten minutes' drive. The nearest proper beach for swimming is probably at Burton Bradstock or Hive Beach. For a good cliff walk, you can head to Golden Cap. Dorchester is twenty minutes away if you need a bigger supermarket or the train station.
Further afield, things like the Tank Museum at Bovington or Monkey World are about half an hour. You can see the Cerne Abbas Giant from the road, but it's best viewed from the official viewing area.
In the house there's a dishwasher, washing machine, bedding and towels are included, and wifi. The kitchen and dining area is open plan. There's also a separate sitting room. Pets are welcome, up to two.
