Sweet Briar
Sweet Briar is in Bothenhampton, which is just outside Bridport. It's about a mile to West Bay harbour and Bridport town. It's part of an old country house. We've split the place up, so Sweet Briar and Buzzards are next to each other in the east wing.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
The hill behind the house has loads of badger setts. You can see them sometimes at dusk if you're quiet. There are deer around too.
The local shop and pub are about three quarters of a mile up the road. Bridport has a good market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. West Bay is where they filmed Broadchurch. The cliffs there are good for walking.
You're right on the edge of the Dorset National Landscape. The Jurassic Coast is all along here. Lyme Regis and Charmouth are about twenty minutes drive for fossils. Chesil Beach starts at West Bay. Abbotsbury Swannery is about half an hour away.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We accept up to three pets.
