The Retreat
The Retreat is in Burton Bradstock. It's a semi-detached, old house. It's right in the middle of the village, about half a mile from Hive Beach.
It sleeps eleven. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's spread over three floors. The stairs are normal house stairs. The social bit is the big kitchen and dining room. That's where everyone tends to end up. The living room is separate and comfortable.
Burton Bradstock has a couple of pubs, a restaurant, and a good café right on the beach. West Bay harbour is about two miles away. You can walk it if you want. The cliffs there are impressive.
For bigger shops, Bridport is a few minutes drive. Dorchester is about twenty minutes. The National Trust has a lot of coastline here. The Jurassic Coast site is useful for planning.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, a wood burner, and an enclosed garden with a barbecue. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for a few cars. You can bring up to two dogs.
